The month is about to end, and Samsung has still not released the April 2026 security patch to all the eligible Galaxy smartphones and tablets. Two of them were the Galaxy A15 and the Galaxy A36, but not anymore.
Samsung is rolling out software updates to the Galaxy A15 and Galaxy A36 in South Korea. They offer the April 2026 security patch, which fixes 47 security issues. Below are the firmware versions of the new updates.

- Galaxy A36 – A366NKSS6BZD8
We expect Samsung to release the April 2026 security patch for the Galaxy A15 and the Galaxy A36 in other countries in the next few days. You can check if the brand has made it available in your region, go to Settings > Software update > Download and install.
The Galaxy A15 as well as the Galaxy A36 are eligible to get Samsung’s latest Android customisation for its smartphones, One UI 8.5. The brand is expected to release it today, starting with new and high-end devices and then expanding it to older and more affordable models.
